I took a friend on a scouting trip today to try for a few trout and we only caught a few! Water temp was 68.5° and water clarity was excellent. We caught about 15 short trout and 2 keeper and 1 very nice 14 inch whiting. Ralph to them home and cooked them. The tides were horrible due to coming off a new moon and the 15 knot North East wind caused the tides to get to the Grass quickly and basically flooded everything. It was a great day to get out on the water as we had it mostly to ourselves.
