This is the first scouting trip I have taken since having back surger. We left the dock around 8:30 am to catch a few hours of the incoming tide. Wind was NNE blowing at about a steady 16, gusting to 25K.

However we went north to some protected water to a spot I enjoy fishing. The action was slow, but I caught and released a beatiful 30" redfish and Tom caught and kept ( 2 ) 18 " speckled seatrout that he caught on a jerkbait. I caught the Redfish on a live shrimp. I built the rod I caught him on and he definatly strained it. Tom also released a small flounder.

I Plan on doing alot more fishing this year. We are in 30 stores with our Patented Ichythys Corks, one of the models you can see below. I put a 72 inch trolling motor with spotlock and kept the power pole as well. The trolling motor use 1 36 volt lithium battery for power and work flawlessly so far.
