06/30/2008

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charters for Miss Judy Charters. Wind was southwest at 20 knots. Water temp was mid 80's and air temp was in the 90's. Overcast and the water was dirty. Catching was not great today, but we did manage to keep a few fish.

06/25/2008 - 06/28/2008

Capt. Jeremy and Capt. Rick split 5 charters for Miss Judy Charters. This is a condensed report. The wind blew everyday 5 -20 knot out of the South/SouthWest. Capt. Jeremy had 3 trips and Capt. Rick had 2. On 6/28 Capt Jeremy had a 6 hour, then Capt.Rick took over the second trip. Air temp has been in the 90's each day with extreme humidity.DRINK plenty of WATER.

Many fish were caught and alot of them were released. Below is pictures of some of the catches . These top two pictures were from an afternoon trip on 6.28.2008. Drew caught and released several small reds, but kept this 18 inch redfish. He also kept a nice flounder.

Below, John caught and kept this 21 inch Sea Trout. Caught him way out from the boat.

The guys below kept a few trout and released some nice sharks!


These guys kept enough trout for a meal and released the rest Reports Capt. Jeremy.

06/24/2008

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 85° and visiblilty was good. The trip started at 8:30 am sharp and we caught a lot of speckled seatrout and bonnethead sharks today. The air temp was in the 90's with a 10-15 knot soutwest wind. All fish were released unharmed today. Final tally was 27 released seatrout and 3 sharks.

Capt. Rick had a 4 hour charter that turned into a 5 hour trip for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 85° and visiblilty was excellent. We started at 6:30 am sharp and the water was loaded with large and small trout. The largest trout kept was a shade over 21 inches and very fat. We kept a total of 8 nice seatrout, 2 slot sized redfish and 1 black drum and 1 whiting. All fish were caught on the Inticer and Outcast from MidCoast.

Unlike the day before, 6.20.2008 we had non stop action and used all of our live bait - shrimp from Adams and Larrys as well as a few mud minnows. We released many ladyfish and blue fish, and quite a few rat reds. Both these anglers were excellent and a pleasure to fish with. The air temp climbed into the mid 90's and the wind was 10 knots out of the south.

06/18/2008

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 85.7° and visiblilty was dirty Air temp was in the upper 90's. Wind was out of the Northwest at about 15 knots. It was directly against the outgoing tide and that added to the water clarity being poor. All fish today were released. Did not catch any trout today, but caught an abundance of non sight feeders. Caught some small reds, a few 3 foot bonnethead sharks and a couple nice flounders that were released. The largest went 4 lbs. All fish were caught on live shrimp from Adams.

Capt. Jeremy had another 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 85° and visiblilty was very good. Air temp was in the 90's. Released all fish. Caught an assortment of flounder, reds, trout and bluefish with a couple nice bonnethead sharks.No pictures today either. All fish were caught on live shrimp from Larrys' Bait and Tackle.

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 84.8° and visiblilty was good. Air temp was in the 90's. Caught and kept 12 Trout. Released the rest. Did not take any pictures

06/13/2008

Capt. Rick had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 84.6° and visiblilty was good. Air temp was mid ninetys but the water was smooth. Immediatly hooked up with school of ladyfish and bluefish, As the water was running out we found an excellent trout drop where we kept 6 trout or 7 nice trout one that was 21 inches. Also caught and released a few redfish.

Capt. Rick had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 84° and visiblilty was good. Caught several blue fish and a few trout and ladyfish and bonnet head sharks. Kept some whiting and a nice flounder. Batterys were dead in the camera.

06/09/2008

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 83° and visiblilty was stained . Wind was 12 - 20 out of the west, and this made for stained conditions.

Kept 8 trout, 1 whiting and 1 bonnet head shark and released the rest. Air temp approached mid 90's an that called for an ample supply of fresh, cool water . Always stay hydrated in this heat.

Remember Capt. Jeremy says - Pay attention to your float and don't set the hook to hard, just enough to hook the fish and never quit reeling a trout.

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 82° and visiblilty was clear. Wind was 10 - 12 out of the west, and this made for some chop.

We decided to keep a few fish and we kept 15 trout, 1 spanish, and a nice whiting. The ladyfish were not very thick today as we only released a couple. Air Temp was 92° and the humidity was high.

Remember Capt. Jeremy says - to stay hydrated - drink plenty of water when out on these hot humid days.

06/07/2008

Capt. Rick had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 82° and visiblilty was clear. Wind was light and variable out of the southwest. We released several huge ladyfish and kept about 8 speckled seatrout, 1 flounder and 1 bluefish. Also released a puffer fish.

We fished the first 4 hours of the incoming tide and had plenty of nonstop action all morning. Missed quite a few trout bites as well. It was a good day to be on the water.

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour charter for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 82° in the Savannah River. The charter went real good and was a catch and release charter. They caught several black drum and redfish on florida shrimp and Mud Minnows. Even had a couple gaters chasing the bait.

Capt. Rick had 3 busy charters for Miss Judy Charters. The water temp was 78-80 over the course of this week.

ON 6.01.2008 I had 2 people in the boat. This was an afternoon charter and we only caught ladyfish, trout and sharks. This was a catch and release trip, so I did not take pictures.
