Capt. Jeremy had a 2 person 6 hour trip today with James and Al. The water
temp was in the mid 80's and falling from earlier in the week. Winds were
much better today and they caught quite a few redfish today. We are experiencing
black gill with some of the bait shrimp this year. This disease causes
the shrimp to die much quicker than normal. Every day is different and
so are the shrimp. Some days we are getting bait with no black gill and
other days they all have it.

Capt. Jeremy had a 2 person 6 hour trip today with George and his son
in law Steve. Weather was a little rough out with winds out of the Northeast.
Water was stained and the water temp was mid 80's. They fished the last
3 hours of the outgoing and the first 3 hours of the incoming. Most fish
were caught on live shrimp from Adams, but George suggusted trying a spoon.
That produced some redfish that were just under the slot and 1 very nice
flounder. George also, caught his first flounder on a live shrimp, but
it was short. Capt. Jeremy had to find some creeks to get out of the weather.
You can see how rough it is in some of the pictures. Capt Jeremy reported
that they had several redfish that were just short, and that they lost
a few speckled seatrout. Considering the weather they had a great trip!
Hopefully they can come back in the fall when we shift into the fall pattern.
Currently we are experiencing the start of that season, but tomorrow the
winds are predicted to shift from the South, southwest at 3 knots.

Capt. Rick had a 6 hour 3 person trip with Russell and his son Brandon
and friend Mike. We have had nonstop rain for the last 3 or 4 days, however
we did catch a break from the flooding. We departed the Marina at 6:20
am and headed out to Wassaw Sound. Wind was stiff out of the east. So
we had a wind blowing from the east and the tide trying to run. This caused
the water to be more muddy and choppy than we hoped for.
Water
temp was in the low 80's. We did have action most of the day with it tapering
off during the last hour of the outgoing. We caught several speckled seatrout,
but most were just undersized. Also caught 20+ redfish that were still
below slot size. Caught some ladyfish, blacktip sharks, bonnethead sharks,
and some whiting, croakers and bluefish. They kept 1 bonnethead shark,
2 croakers, 2 whiting and one 17.5 inch trout. Plenty of action for this
time of year. Brandon lost a speckled seatrout at the boat, larger than
the one that Mike caught.

Capt. Jeremey had a 6 hour 2 person trip today with Lee and his son Britton
today. Weather was less than perfect with stiff northwest winds and rain
off and on. Water temp was in the lower 80's and stained.
However
they did catch fish all day , but most were just under the slot limit
to keep. They caught some speckled seatrout, puppy drum redfish, bonnethead
sharks and ladyfish. Capt. Jeremy reported that they were good anglers
an fun to fish with.
Capt. Jeremy also said that Britton had a lot of questions, which is very
good. Its been my experience that when a 7 year old asks alot of questions,
then he is having a good time and will remember more than he forgets.

Capt. Rick had a 6 hour 3 person trip today with John, his son John and
Jimmy from Pennsylvania. Water temp was 85.5°and stained
today. Wind was stiff out of the west so the water wasn't as clear as
it had been during the last couple of days. They were also good anglers
and caught alot of croakers, bluefish, ladyfish and a blacktip shark as
well as a bonnethead shark. All sharks were released, but they did keep
5 nice speckled seatrout. It was a pleasure to fish with this group!

Capt. Jeremy had a 6 hour 4 person trip with Chris and his wife and 2
friends. They departed the Marina at 6:30 am with 3 quarts of live shrimp
from Adams Baithouse. Water temp was 84.5°and
clear today. They fished 5 hours of incoming and 1 hour of outgoing. Capt.
Jeremy also reported that they were also excellent anglers, which makes
his job easier!
We
are coming off a new moon, so tides are still running fast. They had a
great day catching large flounder, 1 was 6lbs and speckled seatrout, redfish
and bonnethead and spinner sharks. They also caught a couple baby cobia,
some croakers and 1 young jack crevalle. All in all a great day of inshore
fishing. The largest keeper Redfish was a hair over 22.8 inches.

Capt. Jeremy had a 6 hour 2 person trip with Mark and his son Luke. Capt.
Jeremy reported that they were both excellent anglers and a pleasure to
fish with. Water temp was around 84.5°and clear to stained. Finding
clear water is a key to catching fish on our coast. They fished the last
3 hours of the incoming and the first 3 hours of the outgoing. Notice
the picture of Luke holding his flounder. It changed colors to match his
camoflauge shirt. All fish were released unharmed today. They caught some
speckled seatrout, flounder, ladyfish and a couple bonnethead sharks. The
croaker were out in force as well. All in all a great day on the water.

Capt. Rick had a 6 hour trip with Amanda and Ben and their 4 children
today. Water temp was in the 80's and mostly clear. The water was relatively
calm today and we started off catching some Speckled seatrout, croakers
and ladyfish. However after the 1st couple of hours Amanda didn't feel
well. We took a break and went to a marina and offloaded and took a break
for a few minutes. Went back out into the sound and started catching some
redfish and a few blacktip sharks and 1 huge bonnethead shark, before
Amanda indicated that she really didn't feel well. So we almost made 4
hours. We caught a lot of fish in a short time and her kids were very
well mannered and a pleasure to fish with.

a lot of action and caught quite a few undersized redfish, as well as
bluefish and some speckled seatrout. They also caught a few bonnethead
sharks that were released. Water temp was in the mid 80's and stained.
Capt. Jeremy reported that they were excellent anglers.
