Capt. Jeremy ran 2 back to back trips today for Bull River Marina. They tried for Bull Reds, but didn't get one today. Water speed is exceptionally fast with the Moon almost at the new phase. Temps are still going up, so expect a trout bite very soon. They caught and released several sharks and 1 nice leapord ray and a smooth dogfish, as well as a huge stingray estimated at over 50 lbs.

Capt. Jeremy had a 6 hour 3 person trip today with Ronnie and his family from Murfreesboro, Tn. They did not get a bull red today, but did catch and release quite a few bonnethead sharks. Water temp is in the low 70's , but clarity is stained at best. After his 6 hour trip, he ran a 4 person 4 hour trip for bull river marina. They hooked and lost a tarpon and got spooled a few minutes later. Not a bad day on the water.

The fish below is from the Bull River Trip today. Capt. Jeremy is holding the shark for the young man.

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour 4 person charter this afternoon. He had Rick and his friend Brian who was from Tenn and 2 kids. Water conditions were not as favorable today. Wind was up and the water was stained. They caught a few whiting and used that for cut bait. They hooked and released some Sharks as well as a very nice 40 inch Redfish. Water temp was 70 degrees. Another fine day on the water.

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour 2 person trip today for Bull River Marina. Water temp was in the upper 60's to low 70's. Light winds, but fast tides. They caught and released approx 30 whiting and 1 very large Bull Red that weighed almost 50lbs. A great day for sure!

Capt. Rick had a 4 hour 4 person trip today for Miss Judy. It was a grandfather, father and 2 boys. We departed her dock at around 8am. Water temp was 66 and clear. Fished the outgoing tide for whiting, with the boys hoping for a shark. We kept 30 whiting and released 1 stingray and 1 bonnethead shark. Plenty of action for whiting.

Capt. Jeremy had a 6 hour trip and went after some sharks and whiting. They had a successful day catching a nice large bonnethead shark and approximatley 25 - 30 whiting. This couple was from Michigan. Water clarity was very nice today.

Capt. Rick was part of a 5 boat multiple charter for Miss Judy. We decided to run to the Bull River and fish the last hour of outgoing and the first 2 of the incoming. Caught a number of stingrays and Whiting and was bit off by a shark. Water Temp was in the 60's and the water was not very clear.

Capt. Jeremy had a (2) 4 hour trips For Bull river marina on the 6th and the 9th, plus a site seeing trip on the 9th after the charter. Water temp is on the rise. They targeted and caught whiting plus a bonus flounder. Water clarity was much better on the 9th than the 6th. In the pictures below you will see some horseshoe crabs mating and a school of cow nose rays that they saw during the site seeing trip! A full day for Capt. Jeremy.

Capt. Jeremy had a 6 hour trip with Jake and Eric. They were after Redfish but only got a few bites and landed a keeper trout. The whiting fishing is going strong and many boats were out whiting fishing. Water temp is on the rise , topping out today at 68°. Capt. Jeremy reported that they did see some reds chasing bait, but would not bite. They had live shrimp, mud minnows, dead shrimp and artificials today for bait.

Capt. Jeremy and Capt. Rick decided to go catch bait today. Bait store has not been able to get any live shrimp, so we went after and got alot of mud minnows. Mud minnows are a very hardy bait. Water temp was 60° . Fishing is starting to get better and better daily.

Capt. Jeremy had a 4 hour trip today for Bull River Marina. He had 4 people for 4 hours. Air temp plunged the last 2 nights and caused the water temp to drop AGAIN to 54°. The target species was whiting and everyone caught fish. The pictures below is a sample of some of the different species encountered while catching whiting. These are all bottom fish, whiting, hake, and stingrays. Considering the weather not a bad outing!

03/23/2014
Capt. Rick had a 4 hour trip today with Bill. We were actually targeting whiting, but Managed to hook , land, revive and release a very nice Bull Redfish. Water temp was 59.9°. The whiting bite is also picking up. Looks like after the first of this week, we should be in a solid spring fishing pattern. All in all a very nice morning on the water.

Capt. Jeremy had a 6 hour 4 person trip on March first. Water temp was 55. Unfortunatly the fish did not cooperate and no one caught today. We have had a frigid winter and the cold is still holding on.

Expect improvements in the next few days . Bait store opened up on march 2 and caught some white shrimp. Earl Reported that there were some fingerling trout in the nets, so that is a very good sign of things to come.
